The jungle where all Rhino animals live

Does anyone have any info on mold standards, restrictions, etc. for creating models for footwear sole molds/toolings.

Thanks,

Chad

I'm not a footwear guy, but there is a footwear section on the Rhino Resources page:

Hello Chad:

I have worked in the footwear industry for 20+ years and now work with 3 othe guys in a small consulting firm that does footwear modeling with Rhino, pattern engineering with CRISPIN Shoemaker, prototypes, development , etc.  To my knowledge there is no set of standards available to the general public.  Most companies keep these standards internal as part of their intellectual property.  We have knowledge of the typical mold standards for footwear molds at our firm, but again this is part of the value added we provide to companies.  We actually provide footwear modeling training to Rhino users as one of the services we provide.  I know this doesn't answer your question, but hopefully it helps provide you with a better understanding of how the industry works.

Thanks for the reply Todd. I am aware of the confidential nature of these documents. I was hoping to find someone who had created their own, or had some info that could be shared.
