The jungle where all Rhino animals live

Hi all,
I am enjoying the advanced transform operations in Rhino4, particularly taper, bend, etc. , but have a question about the polysurfaces generated by those operations:

They're quite dense.
Is there a way to pull out some of the isocurves (aka isoprams) that are created by the advacend transform operations?

The polysuraces are dense enough to kill my shaded view and bring my machine to a standstill. If I could simplify the polysurfaces using fewer isocurves, I'm certain I could speed up my process.

I know mesh modelers let you reduce polygons; am I missing the " reduce surface isocurve density" commnd in rhino?

I evenually figured this out, so I'll post for anyone who mght be interested:

make sure your polysurfaces are exploded into surfaces ( also works for poylines > lines).
highligt the surface and type "rebuild" into the command line; press enter.
You should get promps to define the number of curves and degree (points required to define the curve/surface shape) and number of spans for u and v.

enter new values, hit okay and the geometry should rebuild.
okay, but in most cases you will be not able to join them together again, because borders and edges will be changed...
actually, if you keep your degree, u and v values consistent, it will work.
