Hi Brad.
You could try Daz 3d there are a few Medusa's there but not jewellery models. Maybe someone in their community could model one for you.

i have my wt calculator made in excel u will get all metal diamond and everything wt in this program i hope it will helpful to u. i create this for me myself. just enter volume of your rhino file

Sorry for the long winded reply, this should work pretty well for a start you'll have to go in and maybe change the specific gravity's of the metal most are pretty spot on.

 

Also for the medusa head have you tried http://www.turbosquid.com/ maybe you might find something there

Hi Brad.
I came across a guy called Alfredo on a forum on the zbrush software site that could probably sort you out with a Medusa head. Thats www.zbrush.com. You should check out this software. It's a bit hard to find his link. If you click on the industry button and then on the jewellery button and then on the "zbrush central Threads highlights" button it should bring you to his pics. I took the liberty to let him know that you were looking for a medusa and that you are on rhinojungle!!!

I have a .jpg that is similar,...that you can do a heightfield from bitmap...
