About RhinoWorks

RhinoWorks is a plug-in that brings constraint-based parametric design in Rhino. A constraint specifies geometric or dimensional property of one or more shapes. Applying constraints forces geometric bodies to change their shapes or/and poisitions in 3D space. With RhinoWorks you obtain full parametric control over any 3D model, including one created in other CAD system and imported in Rhino. RhinoWorks significantly increases the productivity of your usual design workflow be it 3D geometry editing, assembly design or kinematic animation.

RhinoWorks is smoothly integrated with Rhino: it just adds another toolbar to the familiar Rhino environment and does not limit your access to other Rhino features and commands. The best way to learn RhinoWorks is to download and install a free trial version (valid for 30 days) and repeate sample scenarios presented in our video tutorials.

Just renamed RhinoAssembly user group to RhinoWorks - after we changed the name of our plug-in (RhinoWorks = RhinoAssembly + RhinoDirect).

I've enjoyed playing with this software to be sure, but one question- is there a way to use it with simple lines and points - ie to sketch out a kinematic idea before beefing out the parts?
thx
