New to this forum, just bought a MBP and partitioned it to run Rhino in W7.
Looking forward to reading thru and learning about other's experience with the Mac Rhino WIP.

I've never used a pc, been on macs since they were black and white and Rhino for OSX is looking good. I've tried demos of several 3d mac apps and have found them difficult to use. Rhino, on the other hand, is quite intuitive. Bring it on.

I'm also watching the Rhino/OS X development quite closely as I would much rather prefer using a mac to a PC. I use rhino alot for work especially the rendering side of things. I enjoy using brazil as my rendering system and am interested to see what toucan will have to offer.

Hi Gang,

I recently joined the Jungle and the Mac group. We will be purchasing Mac's to replace our PC's over the next few months. I hope to learn a lot about the new Rhino/OS X development here.

I actually like the user interface in Rhino OSX, specifically where you can see the name of the tool next to the icon. When I was first learning rhino I found it somewhat frustrating waiting for the little windows hover flyout to pop up so I could see what name of the tool was, or to find out if the tool had a right click or not, and what that right click did. I also like having a dialog box where you can see all the settings about a tool. More like my Mircostation background. Instead of the command line interface that Rhino has.

I thought the older versions already had Toucan? At least I remember having tried it and was surprised that the Windows version did not support it.
