I've gone over the basic tutorials but I wonder if there are any other tutorials out there, perhaps more advanced? If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I'd like to get my jewelry renderings to look as sophisticated as possible. Thank you.

add a refraction layer to the glass material? That or you could always make the glass model only a surface layer versus a sold so that light will pass through and not reflect off of the back side of the other side of the solid. I'm still pretty new…

pd -i also try with another metals and the p[roblem continues.
I need to know why the silver material, doesnt reflect when i put a glass material at the form of it, for the ilumination im using a skylsu from vray, a rectangular ligth and a point ligth. can some one help me. both material are default from vray …
