I started using RhinoCam Pro 2.0 with Rhino 4.0.in March of 2009. I'm currently running with SR6. While still learning Rhino and RCP, the plug-in has been pretty stable and very user friendly.

I have been using RhinoCAM Pro 1.0 for over two years still haven't upgraded to 2.0 yet. I like the program, lots of functionality for the price but it is pretty buggy at times.

You may be right. You know, I've always said that this is one thing that programs like Artcam are good at.

I'm thinking Ferrari or D9 Cat this may still be the wrong way to approach this problem. I don't much care for heightfield but it might be one of the better approaches. Gene

Yep, and it never matters what you buy. I know in my case I could buy the Ferrari and still complain that I needed more.

You may be able to mesh the texture at a fairly low setting, and use the meshed version to apply to your target. I don't know if this will be less taxing, but it may help. Sadly it comes down to horsepower. Regards, Matt Bennett BeavCo

Hi Marco, I've only been working with Rhino for about a year. But I've found that ArrayCrvOnSrf works relatively well. A cool plugin is ArrayCrvPlus. So is Armadillo. http://jarek-rhinoscripts.blogspot.com/2008/12/arraycrvplus-v20.html Pat Schmidt…
