About V-Ray

V-Ray for Rhino 4.0 is a powerful render engine, which provides high-quality, photorealistic rendering capabilities to Rhinoceros, the popular Windows-based NURBS modeler. V-Ray for Rhino 4.0 works comfortably within the Rhino environment, which allows users to render directly from Rhino, rather than worry about exporting to a separate environment. V-Ray for Rhino 4.0 offers visualization professionals a state-of-the-art solution that generates high-quality images of unparalleled realism.

Hello everyone!

We're thinking about hosting a one-hour online V-Ray for Rhino training session with the topic being Jewelry Design. Would anyone be interested in this session? Please give us your feedback!

Thanks!

Elizabeth,

May I suggest looking at the ASGVis website under the downloads section. For free registration you can access and download a bunch of great materials including many various brick and concrete materials in .vismat form. Another great site that you might want to check out if the asgvis doesn't have what you are looking for is free section from 3dtraining.ch

Best of luck!

V-Ray has definately taken my images to the next level. I would spend 2 days trying to get a good photograph of a product we offer, now I have the ability to build in RHINO (2ish hours) and render in V-Ray. Still working on the rendering settings for better quality and faster renders. I am setting up a slave computer next week so I hope that helps.
