The jungle where all Rhino animals live

While using V-Ray for Rhino, is there ever a time that you thought to yourself, "Man, I really wish ASGVIS had a tutorial on how to do this"?

Submit your questions and ideas! We'll see to create an online webinar or tutorial that will help you learn V-Ray.

I'd like to know more about texture mapping; specifically advanced displacement and grouping in V-Ray for Rhino.
Well, most of my skills I learnt from my friends using Vray for MAX... it is shame that VFR users does not have any adequate tutorials... Btw I hate 3dsMax and I use Rhino daily a few hours. The same with Vray. But not a quality tutorials found.

I would like to see in tutorials how to use Irr. Map, QMC and others and what differences are there between them, how to make glow effect, not going through Photoshop in PP... How to set up Leaves to render quality trees, how to set up grass and not to kill my computer with displacemet bomb.... How to handle scene with HDRi maps, how to render single object reflecting others and receiving their shadows, how to hide some objects in render [like i can do in Maxwell, or Vray for MAX], and very important: how to use and set up lights in interior scenes.... :) that's all for now :) thanks :)
Matus,
hiding the object from the scene makes it hidden in rendered image - If this was one of your questions :))))
CTRL+H is shortkey! ALT+CTRL+H shows all hidden objects back!
I know, but In Maxwell I can "hide" object, but it still casts and shadows, I mean if you want to make rendering of a room from top view, but I want to see light coming from windows. But Ceiling still needs to create shadows, but at the same time it needs to be hidden :)
foe example:

ceiling is not there, it is hidden, but there is not light going through it. I mean if I turn sun in that scene, it will some to interior just through windows, but not through ceiling :) I am sorry for my english explanation, but I hope you got it :)
To Dan, Matus, and others that may not be aware,

Kim, Fernando, and Damian pulled together some GREAT webinars last year that have been incredibly helpful in learning tips, techniques, and how to's for many of these things. I'd highly suggest giving them a look. They can still be found on the old ASGvis blog at http://asgvis.blogspot.com/ You can go to some of the older posts and catch up on some of these things that have already been posted.

To Kim,

Is there any plans to upload these old webinars to the new ASGvis website? I think it might be helpful to load not only the video files, but also the exercise files if possible.

Thanks!
~Matt
