Competing to keep Rhino+V-Ray / Rendering Critique

Hello Everyone! I am looking for the help of some V-Ray heroes. I am competing with my fellow coworker in a battle of which rendering/modeling software is better. My coworker feels that Modo is superior in quality, value and user friendless. He as proposed to our boss that we switch to it instead of upgrading my rhino from 4 to 5. "If you know rhino and vray then you just create a path and get rhino to follow path with standard tools and output each frame to Vray. Simple"

Hello Rock Stars!  Happy Thanksgiving!   I have a client that who needs an interior walkthough of a simple showroom.  She plan on sending this walkthough to her client through email.  They are new to this, so they dont have any preference to what program we will use.  My client also has no idea as well.  On my end, all I know is Rhino and VRay.  I was able to get her the 2D floor plan of the showroom easily, but the 3D interior walkthough might involve a little more thinking.     Do any of you…See More

Hello!   I have a brand new client that is very much old school.  She is a showroom designer, and besides doing most things by hand, she uses TurboCAD.  She has hired me to first, transfer her "built-as" drawings to a CAD drawing.  As she works on the showroom, I will be getting more work from her in the form of outlet placement, lighting, ceiling layers.  This is all highly possible.  I will more than likely use my AutoCAD for all of the floor plan like drawings.     The bigger question is,…See More
