Hi Denny, Arc interpolation is on the to-do list for development, as is canned drilling cycles. Currently Joakim is busy with writing the core code for madCam 5, but these features are planned for the future. You may have noticed the inactive…

Hi Dan, I went back and edited the Haas post processor, and now I get rapids. Also got it to turn the coolant on and off correctly, and it now codes feed numbers with a decimal, which is crucial to the Haas controller. No canned cycles, as I noted…

Ok folks,I tried this software, and really like it, save one feature. It does not employ the use of canned cycles. More specifically, it will not call on the canned cycles that the cnc controller has available, but instead relies on it's internal software to specify each movement. Pecking cycles that should take 12 lines of code can easily take 120, if not 1200.Not a show stopper if you "drip feed" your cnc controller, but I can't stand the practice myself. So, does anyone use the software for…See More

Shaded Viewport Mesh Settings

Greetings folks!I am a diehard 3.0 user, mostly because I have been extremely disappointed with the viewport mesh settings in 4.0.3.0 displays well, with the occasional "nonexistant artifact" showing up. No problem really.I actually got to where I would use 4.0 only for the better file conversion it offers, and still use 3.0 for modeling because I can see the model so much better.Every time I have used 4.0, i get a Much Poorer shaded viewport mesh. Renders are beautiful, but the screen just…See More
