Yes, that's the way you will do it. But that option won't be available until the version 1.4 and you may be using the 1.3 now. I will let you know when the version 1.4 is finally ready to download.

That's it. In the 1.4 version you won't need to do this work around to create a render section view. This new feature has been tested with VRay and worked fine. Other render engines need to be tested still though.

So far you can split the model using a plane and then hiding the part of the model you don't want to show. But you need to explode the VisualARQ geometry…"
