I've seen several causes for this. The most common is a buggy video driver. Start with updating them. A way to test is to turn off using accelerated hardware modes in Tools - Options - Appearance - OpenGL. It's the first item. If it works…

Dimension values not viewable in Rhino5

Good Morning,I've noticed recently that when dimensioning objects, the dimension values disappear when I off click.  The values do appear when exporting then importing in AutoCAD, Illustrator, etc...  Leader lines and arrows are visible in Rhino5.  May be a setting that I am unaware, but if anyone has insight let me know! Thanks in advance.See More

I'm interested.  I would have to model using Rhino 5 WIP for Mac at home, but could render here at work during off hours.  Looking forward to it!

Closed Curve / Solid Extrusion Problem

The image on the left was extruded in Rhino 4, the one on the right was using Rhino 5.0.  Any suggestions on what the problem may be in 5?  I am attaching the closed curve as well.

Scott Schneider replied to Larry Ignazio's discussion 'Warping my extrusions after cutting or splitting'
I have had this happen on occasion and while I never find out specifically what causes it I have found that one work around is to project a curve onto the surface and use the curve to split the surface. In some cases it was the render mesh settings…
