Yes, 8 hrs from scratch. And unfortunately, I cannot share the file with You, as because this was a commercial job for a client. If I'll have some free time in the future, I'll be glad to make some tutorials ;)

I created a brush in Photoshop, so I just then made the rain by hand in PS in several layers

So you use simple .jpg files for the .hdr backgrounds? What is its purpose then? I though .hdr files give you some sort of lightining and effect on the rendering models? But if you import a simple .jpg into a .hdr you won`t get that.
Or am I wrong?

I took a look at some of your work, and got amazed with it.
Really, really the best renderings I have ever seen on Rhino platform.
One question: you use the .hdr backgrounds in Rhino, just to get the lightning and reflection effect on the models. And then in Photoshop you cut the .hdr background, and put a new one?

Thanks for the fast reply. The only map that was included was this one below. I tried to put it as a filtermap in my reflection layer but I dont get that effect i want. Im not really a expert in building materials. I also tried a car paint material and I tried to apply this map as a filter. But nothing worked. Hope you have more advice. Thanks in advanced.

Great work, with al your websites! I have a question since you Vray god, I want to create a material for a drumkit finish. I found one on a German website (http://www.vray-materials.de/all_materials.php?mat=93) but I think this is for Vray for 3ds Max. I don't really create materials myself a lot, only easy ones and mostly use yours. I was wondering if you know how this material (the one form the link) is build up. That's exactly what I want but in orange. I hope you can help.
