Case Study: Trek Bikes Designed with Rhino On Mac
The Apple website is featuring an interesting Case Study about the famous bike maker Trek Bikes. According to the article they are using Rhino 3D on a mac to deal with 3D files. They don't use the Mac OS X WIP preferring to run the more complete and stable Windows version of Rhino on the Mac platform using Parallels. Eric Lynn, designer and avid cyclist at Trek, says: "I used to have a PC desktop box sitting under my machine, just for 3D stuff, I’d have to fire up the PC, make translations, spend a bunch of time getting the files into a form that could work on the Mac. Now I run Parallels and a program called Rhinoceros in Windows. It’s the can opener of the 3D world. I can open a bunch of different files from our engineering group and save them to my MacBook Pro."__________________

I use Rhino the same way, running Windows on a Mac. I look forward to the day I can run it natively in Mac OS. Anyone have any idea when that may happen?
